Application

Application and Selection

The applicants drawn from and selected on October 6th are able to participate in the trip.
The results are announced on October 6th.

They will be announced on our homepage as well as by email.

  1. Fill in the items on the application page to apply.

  2. You will receive an email.

  3. If your application is drawn on October 6th, then you will be notified by email.

  4. For those who received an email for selection, confirm if you can attend by October 10th.

  5. Another email will be sent from our company to you.
    (This confirms your participation for the trip).

Conditions for Applying

Although this is a free excursion, we ask for the following conditions to be fulfilled.

Only apply if you agree and understand the following terms.

  1. Be a study abroad student or trainee who has been in Japan for at least a half of a year.
    (Be able to speak everyday Japanese and be used to life in Japan.)

  2. Be between the ages of 20 and 50 years old.

  3. Be able to answer the surveys prepared by the places and lodgings we visit.

  4. Understand there is no time for any religious practices such as prayer.

  5. Be able to eat all of the items prepared for breakfast/lunch/dinner such as rice, fish, meat, vegetables, grains, spices, etc.

  6. Understand that we cannot accommodate any diets relating such as vegetarian, Halal, culture, religion, etc.

  7. Understand that due to various events, tour contents may be subject to change.

  8. Be able to post things like the contents of the trip, your experience, and thoughts on your choice of social media (Blog, Twitter, Facebook, TripAdvisor,etc.) at least 3 times by December 31st, 2017

  9. Acknowledgement of the use of videos, pictures, and words from the excursion to be used by AIA and its affiliates in the form of PR and publicity.

  10. Comply and adhere to rules and Japanese manners at the places we visit and stay.

  11. AIA is not responsible for any sickness, injuries, accidents, theft, etc. during the duration of the tour.

  12. The participant is responsible for any damage done to facilities, equipment, vehicles and rooms, as well as injuries, wherever we go on the trip. Restitution may also be required.

  13. Bring an ID or passport so we can confirm it is you participating. 

  14. Make sure you are on time to all gatherings, etc. and adhere to the schedule indicated by guides and supervisors at places we visit, lodgings, and restaurants.

  15. Follow all cautions, advice, points of concern, and conditions given.

  16. Have no current health conditions that need assistance or special treatment, no chronic illnesses, be not currently pregnant, and have no severe health complications.

  17. As a general rule, expenses included in the travel itinerary are all paid for by the travel project and the travel supervisors. However, any personal expenses you make at the places we visit, lodgings, restaurants, etc. such as food, souvenirs,  room service, (room service and amenities ordered by the participants themselves such as cleaning, alcohol, massages, etc.) as well as transportation to the original meeting place and home from the original meeting place are the responsibility of the participant.
